Fishing:

We really recommend you to try fly fishing in this area.
There are three different nearby streams that have perfect conditions for this purpose.
The surrounding mountain ponds offer you catch of both salmon trout and char. Fishing license and maps are available in our store.

Bird spotting:

Skiing:

Here in Vålådalen you easily find groomed cross country tracks.
Or go for a day trip on the mountain. With the natural trails you easily get out in the wild.
If you prefer alpine skiing there are a several of good ski areas just minutes away. Vålådalen has their own ski slope next to the hotel. On the way to Åre ski resort from Vålågården you drive by Ottsjö ski area and Trillevallen ski area.

Snowmobil:

Right next to the camping, the snowmobil trail passing by.
The trail will lead you to a lot of localities and beautiful places in the mountain area, for example Åre.
You will also be able to reach a lot of lakes and ponds in the mountains, there you can make a stop for jig fishing or just make yourself a cup of coffee.
